Of all things, a couple of strange SUVs

Perhaps it was just the fatigue of being bombarded with the sights and sounds of Geneva — everywhere I turned, it seemed an unobtainable supercar was staring me in the face — but when I came across these two small SUVs, they really caught my eye.
The Dacia Duster shares its platform with the Nissan Juke and several other European and Japanese Renaults, but it looked larger. Perhaps it was the blacked-out steelies, or the little arrow indicating the towing eye, or just the overall shape and stance, but it was handsome for a soft-roader.
But it was the Tata Safari Storme's unmissable red-and-white checker, complete with snow chains and a brace of fog lights, which attracted me like a moth to a HID headlight. I was entirely unfamiliar with the Indian firm's SUV, but it had all the charisma of the non-US market Japanese off-roaders that I grew up loving —the 70-series Land Cruiser and the 160-series Nissan Patrols. No clue what it's like on-road or off (and a brief look at other reviewer's impressions is not particularly inspiring), but man, it looked good.
Enjoy the galleries as a way to relax your mind a bit from the overwhelming awesomeness of the other Geneva debuts.
